Using a Xiaomi phone? You are just a few taps away from being connected with your Firsty eSIM. This guide and the videos below will walk you through everything you need to get started.
Step 1: Download the Firsty App and Choose a Plan
Start by downloading the Firsty app from the Google Play Store.
Open the app and log in or create a new account.
Choose the plan that fits your needs. Whether you're going on a city trip or exploring across borders, there’s a plan for every kind of traveler.
After you’ve selected your plan, the app will guide you through installing the eSIM. Just follow the steps on your screen.
Step 2: Turn On the eSIM in Your Settings
Once the eSIM is installed, you need to activate it in your phone settings.

Go to Settings and go to SIM cards and mobile networks.
Tap your Firsty eSIM.
Enable the SIM and make sure Mobile data is turned on.
Step 3: Enable Data Roaming
Xiaomi phones need an extra setting to keep your connection stable. You will need to make sure mobile data stays active even in the background

Open Settings and tap on Additional settings.
Go to Developer options.
Scroll down to the Networking section and enable Mobile data always active.
If you do not see Developer options, go to About phone and tap the MIUI version seven times to unlock it.
Step 4: Check Your Connection
Open the Firsty app to make sure everything is working.
If you don’t see a connection right away, wait a minute or restart your phone.
You’re now ready to use Firsty and stay connected wherever you go.
Still not connected?
Try going to Settings, then SIM cards and Mobile network, and tap Network selection.
Turn off automatic selection and try choosing a network manually.
Also check that your Firsty app is up to date in the Play Store.
